WHAT A MAGNIFICENT DREAM
Speaking on my capacity as the founder and executive director of the Somaliland American Friendship Foundation (SAFF). Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. I would like to express my deepest and sincere gratitude with profound appreciation for all those who have worked wholeheartedly and ultimately made the realization of this enormous, remarkable and magnificent dream. I particularly want to express my deepest and profound appreciation to His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the State of Israel, for his courageous, dedication, visionary and above all strong leadership that has successfully led, and therefore pave the way for this extremely well overdue international recognition that the Republic of Somaliland was desperately seeking for a long period of time. However, despite the great achievements of our nation the international community has still not given us the recognition and support that we fully deserve. It is in recognition of this fact that I wish to humbly and respectfully congratulate you for your remarkable and courageous decision and support that you have expressed towards the self determination of the republic of Somaliland and it's people as a whole.
However, this is undoubtedly a magnificent milestone and a tremendous achievement for Somaliland, and of course, the entire African continent. And it’s apparently quite obvious that Somaliland will now be in a powerful and totally unshakable position in this Horn of Africa region in general, and this will significantly allow Somaliland and Israel to work together when it comes to the fight against all kinds of terrorist organizations in the region and beyond, and will eventually cooperate significantly when it comes to sharing of all kinds of military and intelligence gathering mechanisms between Somaliland and the State of Israel. And I am absolutely quite optimistic the fact that Somaliland will definitely learn and benefit a lot from this amazing cooperation between Somaliland and the State of Israel.
Your Excellency, I particularly like to emphasize with my own personal appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for your vision, dedication and strong leadership that have allowed Israel to enjoy peace, stability and continued improvements to all sectors of society and the economy. And above all the total determination that has led the magnificent decision made by your government to recognize Somaliland as an independent country, and yet again, gave the Israeli people the courage, hope and other opportunities that they are currently enjoying peacefully and, yet again, enables them to persistently enhance in terms of making a better improvements to all sectors of society and the economy with strong economic achievements and consistent social and economic development programs towards prosperous Israel.
Despite the unbearable barriers and totally unbreakable walls built all around us for such a long period of time, by Somalia’s different and persistent political conspiracy regimes based in Mogadishu, Somalia, who have miserably failed to build again their already destroyed country, which has now became a heaven for all kinds of known terrorist groups, who are freely operate in Somalia and already massacred tens and thousands of innocent people in the process.
And we as Somalilanders, we have therefore managed to build our own country and, off course, our democracy at our own pace without sacrificing our hard-won self-determination, nationalism, integrity and morels that have been established by those before us. Now it’s our turn to continue the fight for a completely free, democratic, sovereign independent state of Somaliland.
